The Last 6 Months!

We're alive! We finally have the internet at home and I thought I would give a brief overview of the last 6 months! Besides the fact that I washed our camera in Craig's cargo shorts... :( here are some of the main events!

Collin turned 1 year old!

Craig and I both graduated. Craig in Business Finance and me in Nursing!

And we got to go visit my mom and dad in New York! Here they are at their cute little house on Long Island.

This is the very tip of Long Island heading into the Atlantic Ocean.

I know it's short..but it's better than I have done lately! We are searching for a new camera and I hope to stay more up to date with blogging!

Bye Bye Elder and Sister Bulloch

My parents just left to serve a mission in the New Yourk, NY South Mission. It is so exciting, but it has been strange to send my parents off! We all got together to say goodbye. We all cried and cried, and hugged and cried and then they got into their car to go and it wouldn't start!! Come to find out having the GPS and Ipod plugged into the car drained the battery so the onstar automatically shut the car down and we had to go back in the house and wait for it to start. It kinda lightened the mood though. :)

Off they went..I love missionary work, but I miss them so much.

Clinicals, Clinicals, Clinicals!!

So I know it's been AGES since I've posted anything! I am soo excited to be done with school, I feel like I've been in nursing school for 10 years!! Here are a few pictures from when Karen and I went over to Page, AZ and worked with one of our professors Aja. It was with Classis Lifeguard air flight! It was awesome to see a little of how life flight works.

Here I am with our little puke bags just in case we needed to use it on the phane!

Here we are working on intubating!

Here's the plane they use to transfer and rescue.

Here's the chopper they use to rescue someone that may be somewhere that they can't reach with the plane. This is Karen, Aja, and I.

Loves his cookies!

Collin loves to eat all of the exciting things like baby cookies and snacks and bananas! This was the first time I gave him a cookie and I laughed so hard at his reaction!

Help Me!!

So I'm having a rough patch with Collin, ok actually I'm totally stressed out and sleep deprived! Uncle Kevin is going to kill me for posting this because I'm only supposed to let Kaylee know about the sweet pleasant times of motherhood so that she will get excited to get have kids someday. :) I really do absolutely adore being a mom. Especially to such a cute little tike, as you can see from the pictures below ;). But I think I shot myself in the foot by not teaching him to sleep better at night. Some of my friends kids have slept through the night easily without much training. Collin only takes 20-45 minute naps during the day. I know he doesn't need to be fed at night anymore, and I try to to only do it about once a night. I've been reading books like crazy to find some answers. I finally found this one called Baby Whisperer and I love it. So the other night I read it for two hours and felt really good about things and Collin woke up as soon as I put the book down and we were up for an hour until he finally screamed himself back to sleep and I was in tears! I don't nurse him to sleep unless it's in the middle of the night, I try to follow a routine. I'm backed up to the wall of letting him cry himself to sleep and I swear it's made him onery!! He's usually so sweet and such a happy baby, but now since all this happened it seems like he's more needy than ever! If I pick him up he settles for a few seconds and then starts arching his back and crying again.

So this is a plea post to all those wiser women than me for some advice, and please don't hesitate to dish it out!!

Cute little Collin in his outfit Aunt Bethany gave him!

Kanarra Falls

We went on a hike down to Kanarraville with our friends Julianne and Wade and their three kids! The kids were all troopers. It was so good to do something outside. There are so many fun places in Southern Utah, I want to visit them all.

Collin loved the whole hike! He fell asleep a couple of times but mostly just looked and looked and looked around! He loved the trees and the water.

Indian Name

HOLY COW! I haven't posted anything forever! Talk about crazy life! I should actually be studying as we speak (or as I blog :) ), but I had to take a break! Only 9 months to go 'til graduation for both Craig and I. Yeah!! Let's hope we make it through sane!!

Anyway....here are a few pictures from a little while ago when Collin got his Indian Name. It's a tradition that my family has done. My dad ponders for a few months until he decides what name to give all of us. It has been a fun thing for us to do. We were anxious to know what Collin's name would be. My name is Mountain Flower, and Craig's name is Silent Wolf. AND...Collin's name is....drum roll....WHISPERING WIND!

Blessing Day is a Special Day!

Collin was blessed at the beginning of the month! It was such a wonderful day! Since he was 4 months old he was quite a handful during the actual blessing. It was wonderful to have all of our family in town. Craig gave him a beautiful blessing. It is such a comfort as we begin to raise this little boy. WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

He's such a happy kid!

While the family was in town we went to the Horseman's Parade.

Here's my cute sister Michelle trying on my sunglasses.

This is the Budweisser Team.

My sister Camille and Collin.

Up at the Ranch

We've been trying to go to the mountain as often as we can before it gets too cold! Here we are with Kade and Kaylee.

Collin got his first kayak ride with Daddy!

This is one of my favorite things to do! It is so relaxing to just glide around. It makes me feel like a duck or platypus or something sleek like that.

Nauvoo!

Now that more than a month has gone by since I've posted.... :) Here are some pictures of our trip home from Minnesota. We stopped by Nauvoo on the way home. It was wonderful to be there! It really made me feel close to the pioneers and it made me feel extra grateful for their sacrifices in leaving their beautiful city of Nauvoo. It was neat for us to be there with our little family! This is the Smith Home. It sits right on the Mississippi River.

On the Temple Grounds. The Nauvoo Temple was spectacular. I loved it!

This statue is on the Temple Grounds and this plaque goes with it. This was my very favorite part.

All in all, it was a wonderful way to end the summer and start the new school year.
